Crime in quarantine
An incident where a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted at a Covid-19 centre took place on July'15 in Chattarpur district of South Delhi. According to reports, the girl was assaulted by two men when she went to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The accused, 19 and another man who is believed to be of the same age, recorded the incident on his mobile phone. "The accused have been arrested and sent to judicial custody but will remain in institutional care until they recover from the infection," said Parvinder Singh, a senior official. "We are investigating further" he added. The incident came to light when the minor reported the crime to a family member who was in the same quarantine centre as her. After the incident, the victim was shifted to another COVID care centre whereas the accused have been shifted to AIIMS. Several such reports raise questions on women's safety in the 'supposed to be safe' COVID care centres.

Both of them, on their respective Instagram handles posted a series of photographs from their adorable beach engagement where Max proposed to Demi with a ring. with long captions declaring love, both poured their hearts out in the open. Demi wrote, "When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his "little partner"- something that might've sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me, it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I'm officially going to be someone else's partner." Congratulations Demi, we're crying in adoration.
Monsoon hair woes
We love monsoon, be it the clear blue or dark cloudy sky, a cool and comforting gust or the greenery invoked in our surrounding by the more alive now than ever plants. But the worst of our apprehensions come true when we spot more than usual strands of hair on our hairbrush, scrunchies, pillowcases, towels and oh the drain. Reports say we lose 50-60 strands of hair (approximately) on a regular, which is normal. However, in monsoon, due to dirt and oily scalp, we might end up losing 200 STRANDS OF HAIR on a daily basis. This is scary. But we still have a super affordable solution to this problem - Lemon juice. You heard it right, applying freshly squeezed lemon juice in your hair not only cleans your scalp getting rid of excess oil and dandruff but also adds life to your luscious locks. Furthermore, frequent hair washes using a mild shampoo especially during monsoon can prevent an oily scalp, dandruff, excessive hair fall and roughness.
